This project called for the

 removal of the old rotted

Box gutter and complete

Restore.

The valley was installed with a form of rubber coated aluminum with a asphalt backing.

Original valley was old tern metal.

Copper or other metals can be used but do cost considerable more.

 

Box gutters are extremely important to repair correctly! Do not settle for the fast fix. All box gutters should have internal supports repaired with anti rot material and all boards should be sealed inside and out. NOT just the outside.
